I was thrilled that Derek Jeter former shortstop for the NY Yankees signed my painting, “The Captain” for the Robert Luongo ALS auction this month. Derek Jeter was a 14-time All-Star and won the American League Rookie of the Year award in 1996. He won five World Series Championships and set a franchise record for career hits. Jeter was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility in 2020.
“The Captain” will be live auctioned Jan 30, 2025 at the 21st annual Robert Luongo ALS Charity Gala.
